There is love, both family and romantic, friendship, because sisters and spouses need to be friends, self-reflection, honesty and forgiveness all wrapped up in a delightful and sometimes emotional story. The story is the journey they take to figure out their lives and what they want. I do not want to give away the story, but there is a happy ending. They were real with real problems and concerns. They had to find out what they really wanted out of life and reach for it, follow their dreams and take a plunge. They had secrets from each other and/or their partners that were holding them back. The girls were all strong and loving, but had issues in their lives they had to deal with. Will the three of them finally share their feelings about their parent’s death and how that has affected their lives? As they share the reasons they have returned home with Posy, she is sworn to secrecy.

Posy, still lives at home and is shocked that her sisters are arriving early. Due to situations in their lives, Hannah and Beth both head home earlier than planned. It is nearing Christmas and all three of the girls have promised to head home in the Highlands of Scotland. This is the story about three sisters, their family, their loves and the two people who raised them.īeth, Hannah and Posy were orphaned young and their mother’s best friend, Suzanne, and her husband raised the girls as their own.

Even though it was 85 degrees outside, this Christmas story seemed to be what I was looking for.
